Does anyone know of any where else where this type of building has been erected inside castle walls??MartinJP Has anyone seen or read about the visitor centre at Caerphilly Castle, just North of cardiff, wales. They have placed a visitor centre inside the castle walls and have made it out of wood, ( Oak to be exact) it is meant ot represent the ramparts and medieval weaponary hich was made of Oak but it is also shaped like a giant arrow pointing directly towards the keep. It has been designed to stand out and not too look like a part of the castle and if you follow the link it is a philosophy that is echoed by Spab's founding principles
