MarkoDoes anybody know why a lot of pictures that are beings posted in the Photo Archive turn up a page showing the gray screen saying that the requested page ain't available anymore? Same happened again with the two last pictures of Castle Athlit. This never happens when I post a pic. Is this due to errors made by the poster or maybe my browser adjustments? It's very annoying.

GordonMy own theory is that folks tend to leave the page before the photo is fully loaded, and so only the heading section makes it while a file has been alocated. Nothing to do with browsers Marko, we all have the same problem.
The only solution we could come up with is to have an editor appointed who can delete the blank posts, Ted has been on the case for a while, though may need new software to do allow this to function. This may be a development for the future, and is dependant upon Ted's deliberations.

I have tried to get a new picture from Chastel Pélerin on the Photo Archive, but it's giving the same result as the onther two photos. I have tried to open the photos at my work, there was no problem. I don't no what is going wrong. They other photos from my archive are perfect on the Photo Archive.

Albert

GordonAlbert, did you load up the photos at work, if so your browser there may be leading you to the image in your hard-drive.
At one point I had a similar problem viewing photos I put in of Stirling Castle's grand Battery. For some obscure reason it came ok in the end.
I can't access your photos, I'm getting the page unavailable message. This is different from the blank screen I was talking about in my previous mail. I honestly don't know why this happens occasionally. Like my Stirling photo, it might come right itself in a day or two. Usually we get the page your photos are displaying if a page has been deleted.

PeterJust to show it's a general thing,
I'm getting the same message as Gordon !
KasteleinI have just tried to put an other castle on the Photo Archive. No problems. Mayby it's possible to remove the three photos of Chastel Pélerim from the site and I will try it later. Mayby the photos are to big (67 en 66 kb).
I don't no what happened. We will see mayby in a view days they will be there.
GordonAs long as your pictures are less than 80Kb you should be ok. I don't think that's the problem. You can't remove what's there, only Ted (The Scribe) can do that at the moment. From experience I'd say leave it be just now, it might kick in when you least expect it. Either that or mail Ted.
GordonI notice that your picture of the other site has gone in without a problem, but your latest offering on Chastel Pelerin has not. Could this have something to do with multiple submission with similar titles? that's what happened when I loaded up my Stirling photos one after the other. I had no problems when I did Craignethan though.
