stephanieI am 17 yrs. old and am doing a school project. I need information on a castle in Le Lude, France. All I have to go by is a picture, so any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Please hurry, though. The project is due May 15th, and I have to type a 1 page report on it. Thanks.
Stephanie

LevanHi, Stephanie

The following sites contains brief information, in French, about Le Château du Lude:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~jvddoel/loire/lelude.html
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/roger.castelain/lude.htm

The following site also has information in English about many French castles. Quite recently, it had a link to Le Lude, unfortunately, when I tried it today, the link was dead - this might be temporary. You'll just have to try! The site does have some interesting general information about French castles:
http://www.chateaux-france.com/

The following site has picures:
http://www.adx-online.com/Expo/Eric/Chateaux.html

Info in English about Le Château du Lude and many others:
http://www.chateauxcountry.com/chateaux/lude/index_fr.html
http://www.fortunecity.fr/bouillon/nord/13/an/lude.htm

Hope this gets you started.
Levan

LevanForgot to mention, if you need help with translation, try: http://www.altavista.co.uk/content/translate.jsp

The translation will be a little rough, but should help a great deal in understanding the main points.
