Shaggz1001I have been looking all over the web for pictures and information on chateau charmont, does anybody else know of a
website(s) that has pictures of it?
Petermore information please ie. is this the correct spelling ? It does not appear in any main French castle listings !
Shaggz1001I'm sorry I just looked back and it's spelt Chateau Chamont, not charmont. This may have been one of my problems, but please still give any information about this chateau.

Thanks,

Michael

Gordon.

PeterChaumont sounds better, as it was my first thought. There is a town in central France with the remains of Donjon (visited). And also Chaumont-sur-Loire. Now you have two !
Shaggz1001I originally saw this chatteau on a calander i have, and they spell it "chamont". I looked at the pictures from http://www.francebalade.com/blois/chaumont.htm, and it looked very similar to the chatteau on the calander, but it was different. I scanned the picture onto my computer and horizontally mirrored it and it was the exact same. So one of the pictures i have seen is incorrect. Thanks for helping me figure this out. I would have never been able to do it myself.

Thanks,

Michael
