MartinJP Has anyone seen or read about the visitor centre at Caerphilly Castle, just North of cardiff, wales. They have placed a visitor centre inside the castle walls and have made it out of wood, ( Oak to be exact) it is meant ot represent the ramparts and medieval weaponary hich was made of Oak but it is also shaped like a giant arrow pointing directly towards the keep. It has been designed to stand out and not too look like a part of the castle and if you follow the link it is a philosophy that is echoed by Spab's founding principles
Does anyone know of any where else where this type of building has been erected inside castle walls??
