AJRA strange one from me, but I could do with some help nonetheless.

Could anyone tell me the location of the fortification shown in the following weblink? http://www.castleduncan.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=2228
Thanks

ipflohmm due to the flag on the building (the cross of saint Patrick) I would assume it is somewhere in Ireland. I will have a look in my books once I have found the books, as on the moment my Irish books are lost in all the other books. Also I wanted to write it at duncans forum, however, mine account just got disabled, lucky me ;(
ipflothe text from me on castle on duncan:

Got it. Could not find the Irish books, but then remembered that Jersey has the same flag:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Jersey

I liked the following story 'Among the legends are a story that a mistranslation from Dutch of the word Erse ("Irish") in a Dutch chart endowed Ierse (Jersey) with a cross of St. Patrick by mistake. '

Or did I remember the castle first:

Mont Orgueil Castle

All the pictures I find are from land, and the building has changed a little bit (some of the homes are destroyed), but this should be the castle
