------------------SwordOfErin Someone already asked this question, but it wasn't answered and I'm wondering if someone could answer it for me now. Does anybody have pictures/descriptions of castle furnishings (tapestries, tables, chairs, beds, loveseats...) from about 500 AD to 1500? Thanks in advance.
If I had a life, I wouldn't need a signatureMaria The first source that comes to mind are the illustrated manuscripts. Also, the Eyewitness Medieval Life book has some pages devoted to that. Maybe you can find it at the local library (it's worth buing, but a bit to general, they say it's for kids. It has a good picture of a medieval bed, with the straw matress.
