MustangHello everyone......I back again.....(I didn't really know I was missing) I thought that maybe it was time to come back and say a hello or two. Just an observation....the posting tip could be considered an insult to someone. When I first read it I thought it was kind of an insult to my age group or any other for that matter. Just an observation though

toughguy12Uh.... Umm...... Well, I've been busy, as I have to do a project at JPL (Jet Propulsion Labatories) that is taking up most of my time. Can't tell you what it's about, as it's very hush-hush.
MustangDuncan,
The posting tip on the reply page....I actually just read it again. It's kind of offensive....as if one age group is dumber than another.... I've been extremely busy.
I spent the entire summer working and doing other assorted things, thank you for asking
Toughguy,
That sounds really cool!!! I'm in physics in school right now.

I really don't think the posting tip intended to imply that one age group was any dumber than the next. I'm sure it's more intended to help folks who reply to provide the most appropriate sort of material.

On a positive note, some folks are more likely to put a bit of effort into not making their reply too boring if they think a younger person needs the information! Also, if it's known that you're actually a bit older than other kids, it'll stop the person writing the reply putting in too much explanation for the easy stuff (which you might otherwise think was patronising).

Actually, quite a few people who use CastleQuest are very young and might find different kinds of links or answers more interesting and helpful.

The bottom line is that the posting tips are intended to help everyone get the answers they need - so if you have any suggestions for how they can be improved, I'm sure your input would be welcomed.

MustangLevan,
Please don't miss understand....I'm not at all bitter or upset by the posting tip. I was simply saying that the posting tip could offend someone at some point and they may not be so able to get over it and might end up getting upset with you fine people....do you understand what I mean? I'm just trying to suggest maybe a more open and nonstereotypical way of going about. If I do come up with some better way I'll let you know instantly.

Just a thought
