Just to the powers that be. About a week ago I placed another picture on the site (sorry!), but it isn't there. So I thought a glitch from me. But when I try to download again, the site says it is there ! Picture is 'Gavi', or Forte di Gavi. |

The photo collection is not our responsibility as moderators, though having posted a few to it myself I should say that there is a size limit on the images accepted. I think it's 56kB(check next time you try), anything above that would not be completely downloaded. Also, are you waiting for the whole image to be uploaded? It can take some time. Do you get the reply page confirming download complete? Some of the images I've posted there have taken up to 15mins to be accepted. ------------------ Gordon. |

Don't think it's anything like that. After the first couple of pic's, I downloaded a free programme more suitable. And do keep the size under the required. Of that picture, I downloaded the same on to an Italian site .. www.icastelli.it (though with Italian text). And it took some time for the picture to appear on the site, although it did so in the end. I also had another picture of one of the gates at Brugge (after the Powder Tower pic), yet every time I try to send it, I'm told that the picture already exists ! Re: the Gavi one, it does keep giving me Bardi ! |
