I will go in my halloween trip this year to Romania. The place of Count Dracula (Vlad Tepes).

I heard that last year it was great! My friends went there and it was really mysterious!
Dos anybody went there before? How is it in Romania?

I will go with the Transylvania Society Of Dracula and their official tourism agency. Ever heard of them? Visit them at www.mysteriousjourneys.com

Hello!
I am in fact Romanian - and live in Transylvania.
I checked the tour, and, even if I don't care much about all the vampire-tourism, I must say you'll get to visit some really nice places. The Pelesh Castle -great, Bran Castle -great, and one of the most expensive properties on Earth - 150.000.000 dollars last time I looked. Sighishoara, a very nice medieval town, Brashov, also great. The Castle in Borgo Pass - heh, well... that's not an authentic castle, but rather a Disney Hotel wannabe. But then again, it's a matter of taste.
Otherwise, I don't know anything about the company - as I said, I have a big problem with the whole Count Dracula Legend. Because, hello, Vlad Tepes ruled Walachia, not Transylvania, and being a bit mad and a member of the Draco Order (Order of the DRAGON) does not make the poor fellow a blood thisty vampire... but hey, that's just me.

All times are PT (US)
