I was looking through websites on castle construction, and I found a company that seems completely devoted to building a castle ground up for you. The URL's http://www.sedelmeier.com/, and taken directly from their page:

"Burg Jägerhof is the headquarters of the Sedelmeier Development Corporation. We are located in Washington State. The primary business of our company is to develop construction plans for castles and then construct these castles on suitable sites. We build these castles from our own engineering drawings developed from photographs, existing castle construction records, and detailed measurements taken from existing medieval European castles."

Just thought everyone would like to know. Cheers.

I spoke to Sedelmeier back in 1999. We both had hopes of building a castle on top of a hill at the entrance to the "bavarian" tourist town of Leavenworth, WA. It turned out that the land and government regulation was just too much for us to handle. He went on to build his in the Olympics, and I off to Idaho to build Castle Kataryna.
