Didn't Savoy post something? I think it was him, anyway. Somebody posted a link that took me to a site for a castle that almost seemed like a keep with 4 round towers at the corners. I don't remember the Castle name or site name, but the castle had a 3-foot walk on one end, and a 38 foot walk on the other. The site was devoted to that specific castle, and had a artist's rendering of what the castle may have looked like on page 3 of the site. Any one know what I'm talking about?
Thanks.

yes he did, though the mail is no longer there. The castle in question was Nunney.
It appears on the following sites, http://www.portraitsofbritain.co.uk/d-commerce/PB0338.htm http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/lists/britarch/1999-04/0089.html http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/lists/britarch/1999-04/0132.html http://www.homeusers.prestel.co.uk/magor/images/nunnery%20castle.htm http://www.askwhy.co.uk/awfrome/06/nunneycastle.html#nunney
and the site quoted at http://users.breathemail.net/djsteward/Nunney/castlei.html
The impression of the castle in 1400 is on page 2.
