I've been doing some research on this castle, and i have noticed this one storie about the first man that lived there, well he locked his dauhter Rigborg Brockenhuus into a room becuase she fell in love with Fredrik Rosenkrantz, and she had a baby, so her dad got mad at her and locked her into a room for 5 years.. i know it is weird to wonder about her, but i have been trying to get some more information on her and him, but i cant really find anything at all.. please help me!.. i would really appreciat it..
thanks..

I'm assuming you don't read Danish. So her is some info on Rigborg Brockenhuus from a couple of Danish sites;
She was the daughter of Laurits Brockenhuus the owner of Egeskov castle,, whose father, Frantz Brockenhuus, built the castle in 1554.
At a young age she went into servise to Queen Anna Catharina, Christian the IV`s consort.
There she met the Queens "kammerjunker"(I'm not sure of the meaning, some sort of high ranked servant), Frederik Holgersen Rosenkrands.
At a very young age she had a son to him in 1599 in Lindved, in Fyn, at the home of her mother's sister Elsebe Skram, who was married to Ove Bille.
Rigborg was imprisoned from 1599-1604 at Egeskov castle by her parents.
As for Rosenkrands, he had two summons against him, one from Laurits Brockenhuus and the other on the king's orders. He was sentenced to have two fingers cut off and deemed without honour(as well as possible prison term, not sure), but was allowed to flee the country. He went into domestic service in Hungary, but died two years later as a result of a duel.
Rigborg was released by her mother in 1604, after her father's death.
When her mother died, the family made her heir to the farm Nybøllegård in Hillerslev parish, near Svenborg. She lived there under the name, Madam Rigborg, until her death in 1641.
As for her son, Holger Frederiksen, who in 1624 received royal confirmation of his right to the name Rosenkrands, would inherit his father's properties, Rosenvold and Stjernholm.

As an additon, it is said that the king(Christian IV) himself was the father of Holger Frederiksen, not Frederik Rosenkrands, but I'm not sure of how good the proof is. Basically it is said that Rosenkrands took the fall for the king, which might explain why the king allowed him to go into exile.

That's about it. Nothing more to the tale really.

Sorry, that's as detailed as the info gets. I couldn't find anything more. This site is my main source; http://www.historie.syd-fyn.dk/steder/aug21.htm
The site gives an e-mail contact for questions;
historie@sydfyn-info.dk
They may or may not have easy access to the info you seek, it may be worth asking. Most of the younger generation in Denmark are fairly fluent in English, so you may be in luck.
