We are decorating at work in different styles. I have choosen Medieval Castles, I need more ideas. Any information, photos, book suggestion would be much welcomed. Thanks

I've never seen anything in literature or medieval texts and pictures about christmas-decoration. But you can be sure that christmas was not the same way celebrated as it is today in the western world 8with glittering trees and lots of gifts). The most important thing then was to attend mess in the castle's chapell or a nearby church, where the noble family could express its religiosity in public. |

I can't agree with Merlin more, and to add to his statements Christ-mass day wasn't even on or near the calender number it is now.
But don't let this slow you down on the decorating as their have been many Pagan holidays celebrated during that month.
All kinds of ideas come to mind that you might use, Medieval foods wrapped in bright colored paper and placed as gifts, a musical background, Decorate the area as a small chapel, maybe some thing to explain the real meaning of the concept behind the special day, these being a few of the ideas.

Perhaps something along the lines of Good King Wenceslas might be appropriate?Here's some UK stamps (Christmas 1973) that might provide some inspiration:
