hey guys..
do you guys have any ideas on how to make a scythe?!
i thought of making with a wooden stick and a curved, thin metal board..(not sharp)
its pretty hard to attach the blade to the stick..and ideas on how to do that.?
and if not.. what other good medieval weapons are there? and are easy to make?! dont want anything too difficult..

thanks..

was a scythe in fact a weapon? i thought it was just an agricultural implement ie for cutting corn etc. What about a sword, dagger or lance? Lash the different parts together by winding strong twine around and glueing? Another weapon was the mace but that would be tricky to make... Battleaxe... pike... longbow... crossbow... Good luck!

all agricutural tools make great weapons in the right hands. Most Revolts in England began with the layman picking up his tools and using it to cave someones head in instead of tilling with it

It was a farming tool. But it was a sharp farming tool, therefore it was used as a weapon in, say, peasant revolts, or even wars, when there weren't enough soldiers or real weapons.

All times are PT (US)
