Does anyone have any information on this Castle?
The only information I have on it, is the information given on the Boston Online Website.
It would be great if someone could give me anything on it.

What's the URL for said web page (it's easier for us to help if we know what you know already)? Hussey Tower dates to the 15th Century and is one of the oldest brick buildings in Lincolnshire. For more info: http://www.lincsheritage.org/sites/hussey/tower.html Regards, Bluewater |

According to Adrian Pettifer, the embattled tower, with a vaulted ground floor and thin corner turrets at parapet level, is believed to date from 1500 or thereabouts- decidedly late for a tower so far south. It takes its name from the Hussey family. John, Lord Hussey, enjoyed favour with Henry VIII but was executed in 1539 for his part in the Northern rebellion known as the Pilgrimage Of Grace. The mansion which adjoined the tower then fell into neglect and was pulled down in 1565. | |
