Author Topic:   Clan Matheson SweetDreames42 Member posted 07-10-2001 02:52 AM             Hello....I am researching my family line of MATHESON & in my research I have yet to find a castle that was occupied by them. I have learned John Matheson was constable of Eilean Donan but as far as the clan occupying any particular one, I cannot find any information relative to this. Can anyone help? In 1880 it passed to the Perrins family who incorproated the old castle within a mansion which still exists. One of the Perrins family was connected to the Lea and Perrins company who produce the world famous Worcester Sauce.
