Aragon is a province in the north of Spain, bordering France.
In the Spanish province of Guadalajara there is a castle named Molina de Aragon; http://members.rott.chello.nl/tjemmes/mol.html
On the Italian island of Ischia, in the bay of Napels, there is a castle named Aragon; http://www.italianvillas.com/db/view.pl?493-1

Aragon was, before becoming a provinve of the spanish kingdom, a kingdom itself. The kings of Aragon, starting from a very small territory that was left over after the fall of the kingom of the Visigoths and the Spanish Mark created by Charlemagne (8th century), became very mighty during the 12th - 14th century. They were also kings of Sicily at the end of the 13th century and enlarged their kingdom during the Reconquista (the fight against the muslims in Spain).
