COuld someone who is knowledgable in the area of Robin Hood please tell me the most exact date possible of his "reign" in SHerwood Forest. And I know that it is myth, but I am a writer and to know these things. Also, is anyone sure of Marion's fife (castle/house, ie Robin of Locksley) or what her relation to King Edward was? What was King Edward's house? I would really appreciate it if you could help me out here.

Forgive me for asking Radella, I don't wish to discourage you in any way, but your questions seem to indicate that you are rewriting an old tale. Does your story have a particularily new twist?

very strange new twist. It is the tale of Robin Hood, but the main character is not Robin. Its a girl heroine actually. I don't include any of the events from the orinal text (written by Sir Howard Pyle) or of the folk lore I have heard of.

Ahh, sounds interesting. With the humour you mentioned elsewhere , and that twist you may have hit on something.
I wish you luck with it.
