I strongly believe that the moderators at this site are very deservant of some acknowledgement.
From what I've seen, they come up with decent, informative answers to sometimes challenging questions - and rapidly.
That is professionalism. I've seen you guys come up with answers (complete with sites and/or references) in response to a fragmented or vague question that made me do a double-take at my screen and ask myself "how do these guys come up with this stuff?!?"
Further, I understand that moderators are volunteers.
Well, I'm impressed! I'd like to encourage any others who have a similar viewpoint to "raise their mug" (or stein, or goblet) to the moderators. |

I'd just like to add as a 'moderator', that there is no doubt that many a time we don't agree. But we are all grown-up enough to realise this, and so try find a middle-line.
For me .. long may the site continue. |

Strange & challenging? never. All questions which stimulate a little thought and discussion are welcome.

Well, from my point of view there tends to be far more negativity slung around in the world rather than the good stuff and so the compliments are deserved.

No - just a goofy person. Actually, Im a body boarder. Get outta town! What, youv'e been surfing? Oh yeah, California, huh? I forgot. I was about to inform you that bath tubs and swimming pools don't count. IT'S A BLAST!!! Anyone who visits this site should just quit their jobs and go try it! Really, it's the medeival thing to do .... you, know.."serf"...
...ok, now I KNOW I'm gonna hear about that one... yeah, that's bad.
Well, since were on the topic I can say that Hawaii, USA certainly isn't the place to build a castle - ceratinly wouldn't fit in over here. Not only is there a bigtime clash between polynesian and European themes, but land is second in expence only to Manhattan, New York City. I lived on a lot of land about 1/3 of an acre that was priced at 375K. Some isnt that expensive but it ceratinly isnt cheap. ANd stone is quite hard to come by unless you want to ship it in from almost 3000 miles away. [This message has been edited by Whitemanfrtown (edited 08-23-2003).] |
