Hello! I just recently got back from Bavaria, Germany from our castle tour. The castles/palaces were absolutely stunning and beautiful. The castles/palaces we saw were Neuschwanstein, (of course) Hohenschwanqau, Linderhof, Nymphenburg, and Herrenchiemsiee. We also learned about King Ludwig II. Very interesting. What a great tour, and there were only five of us!

We also went to other parts in Bavaria such as Munich, Lindau, Oberammergau, Mainau, Zugspitze, Austria, and the Falkenstein Castle ruins, where Ludwig was planning his next castle. Many other places too. We visited a ruin of a castle, Burg Platz. And on our way to Zugspitze, I got a beautiful picture of a castle, I think it's name is Ehrenberg Castle in Tyrol. Beautiful!

Next year, our tour guide stated they would be trying to put on a castle tour of the Rhine, which will be medieval castles she said. I hope to go!

Just thought I'd post my thoughts. Please don't remind me that these are not medieval castles in Bavaria, as I already know this.

Thank you.

great to hear that you have had a good holiday and that you enjoyed the castles/ palaces. Of the ones you mentioned, Nymphenburg is my favourite. It is a beautiful white palace, which became bigger and bigger throughout the ages.
