Does anyone perhaps know what happened to the Caledonian Castles Hame Page at http://www.callycastles.plus.com/ ??? Its owner, Dave Caw, was regularly updating his site till June 2002 and then the updates stopped. And now even the site itself is gone since a couple of weeks. A real shame because it was a beautiful site. Hope it returns.

I've no idea what's happened to the site. It would appear that it has become too large for it's service provider.

Well, the original Caledonian Castle Hame Page is still off line, so I guess it won't be coming back anytime soon.
But here's a link to the several archived versions of the website at the Internet Archive Wayback Machine. Bear in mind that a site viewed through the IAWM loads slowly and that not all pictures were archived. But still a way to admire this great site about Scottish castles. Also the several email adresses aren't working anymore (I tried). http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.callycastles.plus.com

Thanks Marko. I actually ordered copies of some of the pictures - and paid for them. So at least they are not lost forever.

All times are PT (US)
