As we approach Burn's night, I thought it would be nice to give a little of the famed Bards less well known work, this about Stirling Castle, reflected his Jacobite sympathies; ON STIRLING
Here Stuarts once in glory reign'd,
And laws for Scotland's weal ordained,
But now unroof'd their palace stands,
Their sceptres sway'd by other hands.
The injured Stuart line is gone,
A race outlandish fills their throne,
An idiot race to honour lost,
Who know them best,despise them most
