The favourite residence of the royals WINDSOR CASTLE gives WILD ANCESTORS and also INWARD CLOSETS (There goes my knighthood )

One of my local castles KENILWORTH CASTLE is noted for its THICKER STONEWALL

TAMWORTH CASTLE is THAT WARM CLOSET.

The ruined GOODRICH CASTLE had CHAOTIC LODGERS.
The sinister BERKLEY CASTLE was SECRETLY BLEAK (oh I cheated dropping an 'e')
Much must have been wrong with LUDLOW CASTLE because it ALLOW CULTS.
Pondering the future of WHITE CASTLE leaves me in an ETHICAL STEW.
It would be pointless of the murders of Thomas a Becket, archbishop of CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL to DENY BRUTAL CHARACTER
