I will be visiting England for 10 days in May. We arrive in London and have a week to get to Bridgnorth for a wedding. Having never been before, Not too much to spend, a love of Castles, and not much time. I would appreciate input ( favorite sites, things to do, places to stay, how to get around, ect.)
thanks

Sounds a good deal to me.
Ten days and a budget.
Tip one .. get out of London. Plenty to do and see, but as any capital city, it will cost you.
Bridgenorth is an excellent little town. Also the start of the Wye Valley Railway. Get up to Bridgenorth and explore from there. Good for Ludlow, Shrewsbury, and on the main line to Chester. Good Turist Offices in all places.
You can always have a last day in London if you wish.
Information will now flood in for you.
Have a great time.
As it will be after Easter, many of the Houses etc will be open. Gardens should also be good. Weather, just have to take your chance. Normally not too bad.

If you head for Bridgenorth you as well as being able to visit castles at Ludlow and Shrewsbury you will be able to visit Stokesey Castle- a lovely medieval castle/ manor house.
