I just came across the following magazine in my local newsagent:

I really enjoyed this issue - the back issues look interesting too. March's theme is Court and Cloister - music, dance and theatre. Here's a copy of the table of contents:

Strangely I do see bits of it.
Someone on my mailing list actually tears pages out of his too send me if they have anything to do with castles.

The magazine is run by the very knowledgable folks at the Royal Armouries in Leeds. That being the case, I feel it can be a relatively trusted interpretation of medieval life rather than many other sources that often seem to be based more on romance and speculation rather than on historical evidence.

It is sad that that mag has been around only for a year or so. I could have used it back a decade ago when there was very few resources on the web to check out. But it is a nice source of information, has been since its debut.
