Schloss Laxenburg, originally known as the Blue Court
(Blauer Hof"), was owned in the eighteenth century by
Friedrich Karl Graf von Schoenborn, who had Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt extend the building. The Blue
Court was enlarged to its present size by Maria Theresa in 1766.
