Glamourgirl Hi,
I am very worried because on the Friday i go back to school i have to hand in a project on castles, and belive it or not i can't seem to get pictures of them. You see i need to find pictures of a really early castle and a really recent one, well not to recent i want pictures of them before they lost there importance. If you can help me with some good websites could u e-mail me at my e-mail adress and not back to the site.

This question should have been posted to the Schools project forum, this forum is for people who are building castles to live in now.
Firstly, when castles began to lose their importance, cameras weren't invented, so you are relying on early drawings.
If you want pictures of castles, check out the link to the photo archive at the foot of the page, or some of the many many links in Castle Collections, also linked at the foot of the page.

which will give you photographs of castles which derive from a variety of dates.
