The first is a general history which documents the buildings demise and has many plans and guided walks. The second is a photographic history and is superbly made. Gwrych is what a castle should be like, like a fairytale.

Philip Davis As an 18C gothick house it certainly ain't my idea of what a castle should be like. I'd rather have a ruin that was actually once the home of a feudal lord or the site of a real seige.

Borealic Gwrych Castle is built on an ancient site. It was the home of the Earls and Countesses of Dundonald. To buy the books e-mail BevBaker@btinternet.com they are worth the money!!!! Excellent!!!! I was enthralled reading them.

duncan This forum is the book nook and it has certain guide lines to its topics as all the others do. When someone posts here it is usualy with the intent of listing a book for others to read and or to explain why the reader has found the book unworthy.
