------------------ ------------------ Visit Castellarium Philippis Inside the dust cover it says it was published in 1844, whilst in the actual book it says first published by James Sangster & Co. in 1847. ------------------AJR I have been given a book entitled "Old England : A Pictorial Museum of Regal, Ecclesiastical, Municipal, Baronial and Popular Antiquities". (see what I mean about the title).
This book, printed by James Sangster & Co. has no date in it, and appears to have consisted of two volumes originally. Has anyone heard of this book, and can anyone help in dating it (even approximately would help).
Many thanks
Andrew
