Blackheart OK lets start off with....HELP
I an looking for any infomation on the Castle Beaumaris, in North Wales. I have been searching the mighty WEB now for about 2 months, and can only come up with some minor dimensions. If you, the reader of this help message have any mesurements, photos, old blue prints, or other reference material of any kind I sure would like to view them.

Philip Davis Jeff Thomas's Excellent castles of Wales web site has photo's and a floorplan at http://www.castlewales.com/beaumar.html . However for detailed measurements you'll really need a book. CADW who manage Beaumaris produce an excellent guide. Their is a contact address for them on Jeff's site.

canadab I have a video tour of Beaumaris Castle on CD but it is in a non-standard video format and I can't find a program that can play it. It came from the CD game Castles II - Siege and Conquest from Interplay. The narrator is a historian I forget the name . The file is 14.3 megs in MVE format if anyone has an appropriate reader I will send it. Otherwise buy the CD and watch the walkthrough movies of all the castles.. it also includes 3d models and floorplans.
