Blackfrost Hi, got you're attention huh? Well, my last name is Chrapko, it's a Ukranian name. I am going to start researching my family history and am desperatley hoping to find a castle of some sort in my background. It is very difficult to explain but I have an incredible feeling of nostalgia with these things. I am seriously considering abandoning my life here and living in a castle somewhere in Europe. It's like a longing but a million times more powerfull, I haven't found a word to describe the overwhelming emotion I feel when I visit places like Neuschwanstein, or Cochem, or Nanstein. Anyway, suffice it to say, I need to find a castle which either:
1. Is possibly in my families history, and could potentially be seized by me (that sounds so greedy and wrong, but it's the only term I think is correct). Anyway, is that something that could possibly happen? Or,:
2. Find a castle that could be purchased or simply moved into. Hopefully somewhere out of the way, and that has more than a few in-tact rooms which could be lived in.
I know that I sound insane and all, but my very being tells me that this is something that I MUST do. Please help me if you can. E-mail me if you will. Thank you for reading.
