John Ball There is a Wallington Hall in Northumberland! Would that be what your looking for?
Peter There are also towns with that name in
Hant's & Hert's. Might be worth checking them !

AJR There WAS a Wallington Castle in Northumberland. The Fenwicks had a tower house here, dating from the 14th century, which was destroyed and the foundations are now incorporated in Wallington Hall, one of the finest show-places in Northumberland. The painted hall, depicting incidents in the history of Northumberland should not be missed.
