GordonArgyll is a large region on the west coast of Scotland, though there is no specific castle of that name. The title Duke of Argyll is held by the Campbell family who held or hold a large number of castles throughout Scotland, including Argyll. There are other families who hold or held castles in this region, such as the Lamonts and MacNaughtons.
There is Argyll's Lodging, a large defensively orientated 17th c town house within Stirling, which takes it's name from the then Duke.
Since you've posted in Geneology rather than Individual Castles, I can only assume that this is the nature of your querie. If so please provide more detail, the more you tell us the more readily we can help.
If on the other hand you wish details on a specific castle rather than geneological data, please post to Individual Castles, and provide it's correct name, or some detail on location etc., in order that we can identify it.
