Okay .... Dangholm in the old records was wrong. It is Langholm, which was once Staplegorton.

These places are still in the Dumfries area.
This castle was a tower, of which there are only slight remains. Salter says in his book the celler of another tower is now under the Buccleaugh Arms Hotel.
I have no information on the mansion as yet.
