jrcompton In the movie "Lady Jane", about the short reign of Jane Grey as Queen of England, Compton Castle is mentioned as the location of the set for the film. I have been unable to locate any information about this castle. Please forward any info. to this site or my email address.
Geoff Compton Castle is in the county of Devon, England. It is situated between the towns of totnes and Newton Abbot.
It is a fortified manor built by Geoffrey Gilbert in 1329.
