34bCan anyone provide pictures of the exterior as well as interior of the Burresheim Castle in Germany or direct me on the web?

Thank you,

wurdsmiffThere are numerous German castle sites listed in COTW. Click on 'Castle Collections' at the bottom of the page, then use search mode by simply entering Germany. I've done a short search for you, though by no means followed all the links. There is at least one page on your castle, though with only one internal photo.
Go to http://www.caltim.com/rheinland/burresheim_castle.htm
If you persevere with these you may find more.

34bWurdsmiff,
Thank you for your response in regards to Burresheim. I had seen the website you
referred to with the interior photo but have had no luck in finding further sites. Exterior photos would be most helpful. Burresheim doesn't appear on several sites.

wurdsmiffWill see what I can find when I have more time. Sorry could't check through them all last time, but didn't know whether you had checked them or not. I'm not hopeful, this seems to be a state site, and since they haven't added a link, it looks as though that's all they've put out. Unless someone else is interested enough to put it on theirs, it's unlikely there's more. I will try though.

MarkoI did some searching and I found an exterior picture of the castle at http://home.cybervillage.co.uk/folio/wrigley/photos3/burres.jpg
If some more turn up, I'll let you know.

wurdsmiffThanks Marko, I had no joy and kept being led back to the same page. I note that Mr Wrigley sells his photographs.
34b- Perhaps e-mailing the German Authorities could lead you to a purchase of postcards and the like?

MarkoFound another one at http://members.xoom.com/dijkman/duitsland2.htm
I've been searching for a while now and have used a lot of searchengines but I think this will be it. There's very little about it on the web.

Philip DavisI spent an age searching and found nothing except the link wurdsmiff gave. I'm very impressed that Marco came up with a couple more. I imagine that this has something to do with the umlaut. What was the trick Marco?
34bWurdsmiff, Marko and Phillip,

Thanks for your efforts. I can't help wondering why there is so little information on Burresheim? What you found has been helpful.

32b from Canada

MarkoNo trick Philip. On my travels around the web I've accumulated a lot of search engines, so when looking for something, I use'm all. Takes a little time, but hey, it's the results that counts (and no umlaut was involved in this one). And it's always nice to help other castle fans.
