greglooking for any info concerning "pinnow castle" wondering if it might be listed under a different name. Have seen info concerning it being in disrepair with youth groups trying to restore it
PeterPinnow !
Doesn't ring a bell Greg, and not in a standard listing, though it may be a minor site.
We have Penhow in south Wales, but that is lived in as I recall.
No more info ?
gregthis castle is supposed to be in or near the "town" of Pinnow Germany, which is near Mecklinburg Germany- I've found a "blurb" about a group that has work groups going to different areas to restore buildings and the Pinnow Castle was one of them, I'm wondering if this "castle" might be listed under another name
gregsorry about the repeat information in previous post
PeterCheers Greg,
just sounded U.K. ish, not German.
Will see what turns up. One of the other guys might reply before me.
Our European connection you know.
We have it all (well nearly) here at Castlesontheweb.
gregfound the "castle" looks like it needs alot of work. I have been sending letters to get more information, but I've been using "Altavista and Babelfish" for the translations. Sounds like the Schwerin consulting is heading up the project to restore it. Here's the link:http://www.schwerin-consulting.de/arbeitskreis-denkmalpflege/schlosspinnow.html
