Try looking it up under it's other names, Castle/castrum Peregrinorum and Chastiau/Chateau Pelerin. I looked up some of the web sites but didn't find any pictures. You will find a plan of the castle at; http://www.web-site.co.uk/knights_templar/templar3_9-3.html and; http://members.nbci.com/doru_gavril/strong.htm There is also a book available, but I don't know if it hads photos; May your search be fruitful! Erik ------------------ Ferdmotuferd Does anyone have a pic or drawing of Castle Pilgrim? It used to be a Templar fortress during the crusades that the Muslims couldn't breach but was eventually abandoned by the Templars. It's similar to a Castle called Krak occupied by the Hospitallers during the crusades. A reference to a book with a pic would be great also? Erik Schmidt The name wasn't familiar to me until I looked it up and the name Atlit came up. I've driven past there a couple of times but you can neither go to see it or take pictures as it is used by the Israli military now.
Pilgrim's Castle (Atlit), David's Tower (Jerusalem) and Qal at Ar-Rabad (Ajlun) : Three Middle Eastern Castles from the Time of the Crusades (variorum
C. N. Johns, Denys Pringle (Editor) / Hardcover / Published 1997 Marko There's quite some info about the castle of Athlith, and a detailed plan in a book I mentioned in an earlier post ( http://www.castlesontheweb.com/quest/Forum10/HTML/000062.html ). But sadly no pictures or other images.

Visit my website at http://www.castles.nl/motuferd Erik and Marko thanks so much. That's exactly what I was looking for. How awesome. Thanks again. Peter Crusader Castles .. Hugh Kennedy, CUP 1994.
Has all the name variations, with a colour picture, jutting out into the sea. Not a lot left, stump of a large tower & some outer walls.
Page 125 has ... view from old Templar tower at Le Destroit which the new castle replaced.
This one is not a good pic as to distanceed.Kastelein I have put two pictures about Chastel Pélerin (Castrum Peregrinorum) at Athlit (Israel) on the photo site of Castlesontheweb.
