ipflo does any one know where i could find info on blühnbach castle in salzburg (the 'land', not the city). i self couldn't find anywhere pictures or so or anything on the history. katharina The castle Blühnbach is situated near the town Werfen, in Sulzau part of the town. It was build in 1603-1607 by the Archbishop Wolf Dietrich. Than it was used by the Archduke Franz Ferdinant as a hunting castle during 1908-1914. Now it is a property of the family Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach. The most famous member of this family, the industrialist Gustav Krupp, had lived and dyed here. I haven't found any pictures on the Web.
