does any know where i can find some pics of the lost castles of Benfeld in the Alsace, France. The castle was built in the middle ages, destroyed in the 17th century and there after rebuilt and then for the final time destroyed in the 19th century. it was a residence of the prince-bishops of strasbourg. the only thing i could find was the name of an article in yearbook of a local yearbook of a local history group and a short history in french on but i couldn't find any pics thx in advance if someone finds more, it is allway welcome ipflo Hi

If it's Benfield in the Bas-Rhin and Moselle region of the Alsace, I only have the following info taken from one of my books, which leads me to believe there won't be any pictures of it.
"The castle was built about 1400. Demolished in the 17th century, it was in the North/West angle of the city."
