Joe Mellott I am attempting to locate a castle or manorhouse that had very unusual leaded glass windows. These windows dipicted the twelve zodiac signs an owl with the inscription night into night and one with ahour glass with wings with the inscription time flys by ? These glass panels were approximately 4' tall and 7' wide. It might be possible they were once on large window although unlikely. The glass panels were taken from England and shipped to France to build a castle in Paris by an wealthy Englishman in 1946-1948. In addition to the glass panels large doors, paneling and gates were transported to Paris. Apparantely he decided not to build the castle and sold the glass and other goods. The panels have been in storage since 1948. I recently purchased the panels and want to find the origin and age of the panels. Was the building the large panels were in destroyed during the war ? Help -Anything
