jayman My son is working on a school project and is required to do a report on "Castello Di Bardi", one of the largest castles in Italy. He is required to give the date the castle was built, and we can't find that info anywhere. Please help us if you know. Thanks!!!!

That site has a pretty good explanation of it's history. The building in the early 10th century is not know down to a specific date, but it is know to have been destroyed in 1255, and rebuilt shortly after.
There would have been quite a bit of additional building on it over the centuries.
If you need more specific information it will probably require a search in Italian, which I'm not so fgood at.
Try using www.google.com to search. I found the above site in about 30 seconds.
