Chiqui74I asked this in another forum before. I know this is gonna sound like a stupid and childish question, but here goes. Those of you who have read the original version of Beauty and the Beast, NOT the Disney version, know that the castle became known as the Castle of the Rose. Now my question is, is this castle purely fictional or does it actually exist? Anybody know?

Erik SchmidtYou only need to post in one forum. This one seems the best for your question.
You or the moderator could delete the other one.

As for your question, sorry, I have read neither version.

Erik

Castle LadyHi everyone, I'm new here, but would like to answer your question From what I have heard, the idea for the Castles used in both Beauty and the Beast as well as in Cinderella come from the famous Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. I don't know if this is 100% true for Beauty and the Beast, but this is what someone who is a big B & B fan told me. It would be nice to know if there is really a Castle of the Rose and where it's located. If you ever find out, please let me know
