Juanita I have been trying to find anything on a castle called "Altina Castle' located in West Germany. I was there when a child (many moons ago)and have slides I'd love to share but don't want to do so without first making sure that is the accurate name. I can't even say what town it would have been in. Sound familiar to anyone?????

you probably mean Altena castle in Nordrhein - Westfalen.

Juanita Thank you for such a quick response to my question. I'm thinking you're probably right in the spelling being 'Altena' rather than 'Altina' with an 'i'. First chance I have I'm going to check out the site you passed along for the castle itself and see if there are any areas of it I recognize and let you know. Again thank you so much....Juanita.
