Steve Bingham My daughter and I are going on a castle search in Ireland in May. We know how to locate 2 castles on U2's Unforgettable Fire album, Slane and Moydrum Castles. But we were interested if you know the location of the castle third castle, on the back cover. The Internet has it as Carrickgogunnel Castle. One post says it's in County Limerick and another post has it in County Tipperary. I hope someone has some information.

A Knight Carrickgogunnel Castle is a few miles west of Limerick and is in County Limerick - visited a number of times between 1987 and 1997. A great shattered ruin.
Steve Bingham Thanks Mr. Knight. You've helped me locate it. I guess it's spelled Carrigogunnell. It will be fun to see it when we're there in May.
