JAS13 I visited the alleged site of this castle (near Wrexham, North Wales), but struggled to find any discernable earthworks. Salter acknowledges that it was damaged by quarrying and the railway line, but indicates that earthworks still exist. Has anyone visited and been able to make anything out? If so I would be very keen to hear.
