Fontine I'm working on building a virtual castle for a Role Play I'm involved in and I'm not exactly sure of the layout of the main Castle in France that the royals stayed at. The Role Play I'm working on takes place in 16th century Paris. Any help would be greatly welcome. I'm not exactly sure as to where I should go building this castle.

Philip Davis This is not really my nation of interest but, in the sixteeth century the wealthy were moving out of their castles and into palaces. In Paris the old royal fortress was demolished and a new palace was built on the site. The new palace is now the world famous Louvre Museum where one can still see the foundations of the old castle in the basement gallery. There are several good sites for the Louvre worth browsing.
