CastleChicPeter This is where those old grey cells come in handy dear Castlechic.
All depends on your scale (size), look at, or ask people who do model railways.
Trees, cotton wool died green & mounted on sticks. General lanscape, use plaster of Paris, plaster, quick house filler. Just sculp away and let harden. Small pots of model paint (as in aircraft). Just paint your rivers in.
If you have never visited a good model shop, try it. Sure will open your eyes. The folk that run them are full of info.angelsweetiekrisie I'm just building mine out of cardboard it's way too confusing
!!!!!!!!!!!!!**************************************************************************************************************hehehehehehehehehehehehee!Levan Bits pulled off an old bath sponge make good trees and bushes. Once you've pecked your tree-top into shape you can paint it - best to dip it into dark green paint to get an overall covering first, then finish by highlighting the tops with a relatively dry paint mixture using a variety of browns, greens, yellows and reds (depending upon the season you are trying to depict).
