Philip DavisKeep it simple, Use thick cardboard and paint and work from a real castle, then you will get it right. I suggest looking at my page on Castle Hedingham at http://www.castlesontheweb.com/members/philipdavis/author/heding-1.html and Micheal Cook's page at http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/%7Emwcook/hedingham-castle.html

fafwolfwhoa, calm down is my first bit of advice. If you want to know about what things your model should have i would suggest finding a good book (like "Castle" by David Macaulay) on the topic at your local library. If you want suggestions about building materials; how about scrp pieces of wood? stones? cardboard? the possibilities are endless.
